I’ve just got this message on my email from Radialistas Apasionados and i want to share it whit you, because this is the kind of projects that i care about.

If somebody have a radio station and does not have a website, this could be the opportunity to jump on the Internet whit experts help.

• Yes, as you hear. Radioteca became mad and are pulling the house through the window.

All Stations on the Web is an initiative of the Radioteca.net(ES), supported by Hivos Netherlands and the technical development of Código Sur.

And what I have to do to get my site?

1.  Comply with these requirements:

• Being a radio station.

• Not having own website. (If you have a free site or blog you can participate) 

• Have an email account. (Otherwise you can open a GMAIL free) 

• Being featured in the directory of Radioteca.  (You can sign up for free here)

2.  Follow these steps:

• Enter the Radioteca and complete the application form.

• You will receive an email confirmation.

3.  Being outstanding:

• The deadline for registration is March 10. 

• The Radioteca evaluate all applications and among those who comply the requirements will participate in the draw of 100 websites.

• The winner radios receive a letter of invitation and a date beyond which they can start setting up their website.

4.  How are the 100 sites?

• You will choose between 3 design templates.

• You can create and modify your website in seconds with Cyclope * without advanced knowledge of web design or programming. In addition, everything is in Spanish.

• You will have 10 megabytes of space with capacity for news and photographs. 

• The interactivity will be total. The users may recommend pages and comment on what they publish on your website. 

• You can publish your audio productions in the Radioteca.net and link to your website. Also add content directly from Youtube and Wikipedia. 

• And if in the future you want to extend your site or supplemented with more services can obtain them at prices in solidarity Code South.

* Cyclope is a content management system online (Content Management System - CMS) developed by Código Sur which facilitates the creation, management and updating of websites.

This is an example of the kind of projects that allow improving the online presence in a creative way.  In Medellín, there are some groups whom could get benefits from projects like this, because the most of them, still need a kind of “especialists” in digital contents management, but the goal must be oriented to face them with fact taht having an online presence is now more easy, cheap and accesible.

We have to take down some myths and prejudices, but whitout a doubt, something haves to be done, and whit this, La Radioteca show us a good way to be in.

That was the message in some stickers that that i saw in t-shirts, caps, flags and placards. Those stickers came of the local newspaper El Colombiano, and i think that in few words said everything what most of people who attended today’s march would wanted to say: the problem is of all the family and that family is called Colombia.

Outside the controversies on origins, political manipulations, positions and other rationalizations that more than clarify, darkened the intentions, mobilization has an only adjective to me: multitudinal.

I have never seen as much together people, never i felt so affected. With each one of the messages that I could read in the faces of those who walked to my side, tremor went growing until reaching a pair of shy tears where all the anger was accumulated. Either, never, i have not canalized a little while of anger in such a good form.

If it was useful or not, will be the discussion coming… tangential arguments from a side, strategies exposed from the other and all type of ideas will orbit; but the gesture was done already.

In the news i see a woman asked for her motivation to attend the march: “Did you has benn a direct victim of the FARC?”. And she responds: “Yes, because I am Colombian”.

That is solidarity. I remain with that phrase that as much has moved to me and that it calls to us to not being indifferent: In my family there are 3,200 kidnapped.

I love podcasting. I’m thinking that is a better way to express myself than writing a blog.

This time, David and me, have shared 10 songs with a little introduction telling why we like them. This is a bilingual podcast, i was trying to do my best talking english and David usehis spanish also.

I would like to learn how to yodel and maybe could really teach you how to do it. I don’t think there’s too much colombian yodelers.

The way which I have crossed until today has been full of unthinkable changes of direction. Often I have made decisions that reach to surprise myself even. But this is not one of those. I have decided to start studying in the SENA a technology program called Wood Products Design. Initially i looked for the technique program in Ebanistería, but when i saw this option, without thinking it, i have chosen to put me in.

The component design is what calls my attention more, but the manual work thatimplies is also attractive. I’ve been thinking that i need to have a new activity take off my hands from keyboard and mouse, now i’m in this way.

So far, i already have a first project to take the first steps. I knew yesterday that an uncle, perhaps the more close to me, will have a baby within six months, reason why i have seted out to make a cradle like gift of welcome. In my family several babies have been born lately, but short while ago the announcement of a next birth did not affect so much to me.

It moves me to think that in the future i will be able to make furniture and other things in wood for the people i love. It moves me because I feel that with the furniture we establish special relations. Because, who does not have a favorite seat in its house, or can you say that isn’t delicious to return to your own bed after to have spent a time away from home¿?, and more.

I like SENA as institution and i’m excited with this new process. Even have a pair of sketches for the first cradle that I will do.
